If you are retired police officer living in Pennsylvania,
we can help you qualify to carry a concealed handgun in all 50 states.

CCW stands for Concealed Carry Weapons.

LEOSA stands for Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act which was passed under President George W. Bush as HR 218.

LEOSA makes it legally possible for active duty and retired law enforcement officers to carry a firearm in all 50 states. HR 218 mandates that each state have its own infra-structure for administering the provisions of LEOSA.

In Pennsylvania, retired Federal, State and Municipal Police Officers who are Pennsylvania residents are required to obtain an official Retiree ID Card from the department or agency from which they retired. If you are a retired police officer residing in PA, you must go to a Pennsylvania State Police Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor on an annual basis to be qualified to carry in all 50 states.

The Retired Police Officer Qualification Session involves:

(1) Your making an appointment to meet with me. You should bring your Department's Retiree ID Card with you, and the handgun/s with which you wish to qualify.

(2) At our session, we will talk about the judicious use of force and deadly force by legally armed citizens, and then...

(3) You will be shooting a specified course of fire with the type of handgun you plan to carry (i.e., revolver or semi-automatic pistol, or both).

As a Pennsylvania State Police Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor and NRA Certified LE Firearms Instructor, I am honored to conduct qualification sessions and classes for retired police officers.

When I qualify retired police officers under LEOSA (HR 218), and when I do private handgun and shooting instruction, I also take the time to teach you how to effectively conceal a handgun all day long, to discuss the contentious issue of when you, as a private citizen, are justified in employing your gun and when you are not, and last but not least, if you have to employ it, how to do so expediently.

My company, Personal Defense Solutions, LLC, also provides private and group firearms and defensive tactics instruction.
